FREE Children's Produce Market
SCHOOL YEAR 2017-18

The Children’s Produce Market is an initiative put on by CEO. The purpose of the market is to ensure that families within our school are afforded access to the fruits and vegetables they need in order to maintain healthy eating habits. The program has had great success in other school districts and we are pleased to have it at the State Street Elementary Center!

The produce market will take place each month for the duration of the school year. Unless otherwise noted, the market will take place on the second Wednesday of each month. Registration forms will be sent home with students. They can also be obtained through the link below. Families must return the registration form to their child’s teacher or the State St. Main Office by the specified date in order to be eligible for that month.

Biography Reports
Students from Miss Aed's 4th grade class completed Biographical Book Reports.  Students selected a figure they admire, researched, and dressed as that person.

Dr. Seuss and Read Across America
State Street Elementary celebrated Dr. Seuss by hosting guest readers. Some of the quest readers were our own State Street students.  Fourth grade students from Miss Girvan's class read to Mrs. Brady's kindergarten class in pictures below.
